Woman charged in second child endangerment case

December 30, 2014

A Saline County mother was arrested Saturday for endangering the welfare of a minor. This is the second time she has been arrested on similar charges within 60 days.

Shelby Nalley, 31, of Shannon Hills allegedly left her child, who is approximately a year-and-a-half old, in her vehicle while she went inside Fred’s Super Dollar Store. The vehicle was unlocked and the ignition was turned off at the time, said Asst. Chief Jeremy Brown, who was the arresting officer.
