Arkansas State Police have identified the two victims that were airlifted to Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock on Friday.
Sheena Seals, age and address unknown, and Betty Moore, 69, of Little Rock, were both transferred to the hospital via MedFlight after the car they were passengers in was rear ended twice on Interstate 30.
The driver, Gayle Moore, 39, of Little Rock was killed in the three-car accident that shut down the entire eastbound lane near the Alcoa Road Exit in Benton.
In a letter dated Friday, June 13, Mayor Johnny McMahan contends that three Bauxite aldermen are "meeting, discussing and making decisions of Bauxite affairs before an official meeting, which is contrary to state law."
The alderman accused of the violation are Karen Brooks, Paula Matthews and Mona Struble.
McMahan claims that on Tuesday, May 27, Brooks, Matthews and Struble met at City Hall and rode together to and from a settlement conference held at the federal courthouse in downtown Little Rock to consider a settlement in the Purifoy v. Bauxite lawsuit.
Haskell City Council is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Monday at City Hall.
After hearing regular departmental reports from water/wastewater, streets, fire and rescue, police, court and code enforcement, council members will discuss one piece of old business and two new items.
Included will be a discussion of a park improvement project bid.
