Gary Wayne Howard, 53, of Alexander, went to be with his Lord on Feb. 12, 2014.Â Gary was a wonderful husband, son, brother, friend and colleague who always made you smile and feel welcome.Â
He is preceded in death by his mother, Louise Howard.Â
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Lisa, who loved and will miss him dearly.Â He is also survived by his father, Harvey Sr.; three brothers, Harvey Jr., David (Lea), Ted (Robert) and two sisters, Audrey and Debbie (Ricky).Â
A celebration of his life will be 3 p.m., Monday, Feb 17, at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton.
Kathleen Kay Hensley, 58, of Benton, passed away Friday, Jan. 24, 2014. Kathy was born on March 19, 1955 in Benton, the daughter of Leo Travis and Doris Nadine (Wilson) Hensley. Kathy began her education at Rural Dale School in Lonsdale, attended Bauxite High School, studied at the St. Vincent Infirmary School of Practical Nursing in Little Rock and graduated with her Licensed Practical Nursing degree on March 2, 1978. Kathy had a kind and gentle soul and enjoyed working with patients in the home health care field.
Gene H. Fahey, 70, of Benton, passed away Saturday, Feb. 8.Â He was born Feb. 24, 1943 in Little Rock, to the late Gene George and Doris Martin Fahey.
He is survived by a son, Duke Fahey and wife, Shannon of El Dorado, Kan,; sister, Karen Fahey of Dallas, Texas, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15 at Forest Hills Cemetery by Ashby Funeral Home. Bro. Kim Hammer will be officiating.

Elva Arline Cooper Collatt, 101, of Haskell passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014.
Arline was Mt. Harmony Missionary Baptist Churchâ€™s oldest member.Â Born Oct. 4, 1912, she was the firstborn of seven children of Dock Washington Cooper and Adelia Delena Phillips Cooper.
After raising a family and being a housewife for many years, Arline worked in retail clothing sales in Benton until retirement. Across the years she created many beautiful quilt tops and finished quilts of various patterns.
BENTON â€“ Benton Panthers senior soccer player Michi Forbess signed a letter of intent to play for the Tigers of Ouachita Baptist University (Arkadelphia) at the Benton Athletic Sports Complex field house on Friday.
Forbess is a midfielder for the Panthers, which finished 16-2-1 and lost 2-1 in the 6A State Tournament quarterfinals to Siloam Springs, and is Bentonâ€™s all-time leader in career assists with 21. Benton soccer Coach Bobby Winn said Forbessâ€™ understanding of the game is second-to-none.
A wonderful husband, dad, and papa, Harold Manuel (Manny) Jeffcoat Sr., 64 of Benton went to be with the Lord on Feb. 9, 2014. He was born in Benton on July 2, 1949. Known for his generous heart, Manuel's kind spirit touched the lives of many and he was considered a friend to all. He had a great personality and was fun-loving. He had a loud hearty laugh that was sure to lift your spirits. He was very loving and giving and was always willing to help someone out. Nothing was more important to him than his family, especially his grandchildren.
William (Frank) Fisher passed away Sunday, Feb. 09, 2014, in his home in Milton, Florida surrounded by family. Frank was a native of Little Rock, and moved to Milton, Florida in 1961. Frank served his country in, and retired from, the United States Navy. Following his service to his country, Frank was active in his community, serving others in some capacity.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents Lee William and Dixie Eunice Fisher, and his wife Betty Darlene Fisher.
Hazel O. â€˜Nannyâ€™ Sims, 87, peacefully passed away on Friday, Feb. 7, 2014 in Benton.Â She was born on June 18, 1926 in El Dorado, to James Oliver Sterrett and Henrietta Ross Sterrett.Â Hazel worked at Arkansas Face Veneer until she retired.Â
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James M. Sims, brother Bud Sterrett, and sister Wilma Hodges.
Clomer L. Goins, 83, of Malvern, passed away Feb. 7, 2014.Â He was born May 23, 1930 in Benton to the late Harrison and Addie Langley Goins. Clomer was a truck driver for both Foreman Concrete and Affliated Foods.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Sadie Goins and wife, Jetty Dunn Goins, stepson, Troy Wayne James, Step daughters, Cynthia Gale Richardson and Connie Darlene Parish, son in law, Edward Smith and sister, Dorothy Traylor.
Carolyn Vinson Curtis, 74, of Benton unexpectedly passed in to everlasting life Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014 at her home in Benton from a sudden illness.Â She was born Nov.
