Miners' Mayflower game canceled

The Bauxite Miners baseball team's game Thursday vs. Mayflower has been canceled. The Miners are 3-0 and have an 0.37 ERA for the season. Bauxite will play Clinton at home on Friday beginning at 4 p.m.

Food truck meetup Thursday

Seven food trucks are set to serve food tonight from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Crossfit Legit located at 33069 Winchester Drive in Benton.
“This event began in the fall of 2014 and had great attendance,” said Dana Poindexter, a representative of Crossfit Legit. “We hope that our Saline County friends will continue supporting it and look forward to seeing everyone tonight.”
