Is the tag on Price worth it for Cards?

July 23, 2014

David Price is the biggest name being thrown around leading up to the 2014 Major League Baseball trade deadline on July 31. Of the few teams vying for the Tampa Bay ace, the St. Louis Cardinals look to be the front-runner right now.
For the past two seasons Price has been the center of conversation when it comes to trades and the Cardinals have been the leading candidate both times. With plenty of prospect potential to land the 28-year-old Cy Young winner, St. Louis might want to jump at the chance a second time around.

Shurtleff sinks Sheridan

July 17, 2014

NORTH LITTLE ROCK – Technically, the Bryant Everett Black Sox didn’t go undefeated in the Junior American Legion State Tournament. Needing to beat the Sheridan Yellowjackets just once, opposed to Sheridan having to beat Bryant twice, the Black Sox routed Sheridan 10-5 in the first state championship game of the night. But, Sheridan lobbied for the first game to be a Bryant forfeit because of an ineligible player. The game was forfeited by Bryant, but Sheridan may have preferred the first loss to what was ahead for the Yellowjackets the second game.

King’s return not just great for Cavs

July 16, 2014

James decided to take his talents to South Beach and partner with Dwayne Wade in hopes of championship. Three straight finals and two titles later and the “King” has returned to the city he once called home – Cleveland.
