5K is scheduled as benefit for Friendship preschoolers
The inaugural “Walk, Run and Roll” 5K to benefit special children at Friendship Community Care’s MiChild Preschool is scheduled Saturday, March 9.
Walkers and runners of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in the event and the “MiChild Mile” taking place at Hurricane Lake Estates in Benton.
Sponsored by Friendship Community Care’s MiChild facility in Bryant, this fun-filled event reportedly will help raise funds to purchase therapy equipment to better serve the more than 100 preschool children enrolled at this nonprofit CHMS and ABC therapy facility, many of whom have special needs or developmental delays.
The race will start at 8:30 am and will be held within Hurricane Lake Estates subdivision’s pavilion in Benton.
This is a flat, fast course that reportedly will be timed.
