Anna Kate McDaniel Shoemaker

Anna Kate McDaniel Shoemaker, 87, died Sept. 29. She was a retired employee of Reynolds Metals Co. and a member of First Baptist Church of Bryant. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alma McDaniel; and her husband, H. Holden Shoemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Holden Lynn Shoemaker of Bryant and Terry Noland Shoemaker of Sherwood; seven grandchildren; four sisters, Clovis Harrell of Canton, Texas, Leonora Green of Bryant, Jo Lawrence and husband Turner of Benton, and Sue Black Perry and husband Homer of Little Rock; a brother, Darrell McDaniel and wife Pat of Oxford, Mississippi;
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan by Ashby Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Miller officiating. Music will be presented by Mike Paulk.
Visitation will be held following the service.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist church in Bryant.
Pallbearers are Shannon Berry, Earl Wells, Mike Lawrence, Jerry Harrell, Robert Tettlett and Doug Dobbs. Honorary pallbearers are Noah Shoemaker and John Ferguson.
