Benton PD asking for help to locate alleged shoplifter

The Benton Police Department is encouraging residents to help locate a person allegedly responsible for shoplifting.
The man who was captured on a video surveillance system allegedly stole more than $500 worth of merchandise from the Benton Walmart Supercenter.

The shoplifting incident occurred about 8:06 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29.
The suspect, described as wearing a dark jacket and a white cap, was noticed leaving aisle 9 of the parking lot in a pewter or gold color four-door sedan with the hubcap missing from the front passenger tire.

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the BNPD by calling (501) 776-5948 or (501) 315-TIPS.
