Bertha Louanna Ray, age 76, of Alexander passed away Friday, May 3, 2013.
She was born Aug. 19, 1932 in Scott. 
Mrs. Ray was a school bus driver for the Bryant School District and a member of Pleasant Hills Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Adda Osburn; her husband, Boyce Ray; a daughter, Dianna Goss; and a son, Terry Ray.
She is survived by four sons, Edward Haney (Adda), Bobby Taylor (Melody), Jimmy Scott and Robert Taylor; four daughters, Patti Freeman (David), Donna Teal (Olan), Venessa Wilson (Bob) and Sonya; two brothers, Johnny Osburn (Sue) and Oliver Osburn (Dianna); sister, Birda Grimmett; 18 grandchildren; 35 reat-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral service is scheduled for noon Tuesday, May 7, at Ashby Funeral Home with Brother Charles Shepard officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Curtis Haney, Robert Taylor, Michael Mixon, Brett Staley, Brent Staley, Mickey Moorney, Glen Wilson and David Freeman.
Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 6, at the funeral home.
