Billy Ray 'Pat' Lynch

Billy Ray “Pat” Lynch, 77, of Mountain Pine died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013. He was born April 30, 1936, at Hot Springs, the son of the late Ernest Lynch and Elvie Ellen Tucker Lynch.
He attended Mountain Valley Baptist Church, where he was active with the Mission Builders, a group that assists churches and missions with building projects. He also enjoyed gardening.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Lynch; his son, Benjy Lynch; and three brothers, James Lynch, Thomas Lynch and Tucker Lynch.
He is survived by five children and their spouses, Jeannie and Darrell Rigsby of Fountain Lake, Laquita Drennan of Malvern, Gail and Ronnie Buttrum of Mountain Pine, Albert and Janet Mashburn of Bauxite and Hank and Chris Mashburn of Mabelvale; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his brother, Walter “Dude” Lynch of Mountain Pine; three sisters, Lilabelle McGovern of Oregon, Susie Fryar of Hot Springs and Rosie Ford of Fountain Lake; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Hot Springs. Burial will be in New Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Scheduled to serve as pallbearers are Ronnie Buttrum, Darrell Rigsby, Tim Hargrove, W. D. Hargrove, Bobby Goins, Greg Ford and Brice Langley.
