Carmon Marvetta Alexander Moon

Carmon Marvetta Alexander Moon, 69, passed away Aug. 9.
She was a member of Southeast Christian Church and Bethlehem Evangelical United Church of Christ. She was a registered nurse and worked for University of Louisville Hospital. She performed with her husband, Stan. in the musical group, The New Moons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Colleen Sheffield Alexander; her stepmother, Zelma Alexander Foley; and her brother-in-law, Bobby Kitchen.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Stanley Moon; her siblings,Verlan McCool and husband Ken, Sandra Arrowood, Verna Bragg and husband Ron, Linda Kitchen, Homer Alexander and Benny Alexander and wife Tanna.
Funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday, Aug. 15, at Bethlehem Evangelical United Church of Christ, 1480 S. 6th St., Lousiville, Ky., with entombment following in Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive,Louisville, Ky.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to her husband Stan to help with medical expenses.
