Charlotte Ann Simpson

Charlotte Ann Simpson, 73, of Bryant departed this world on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, for her journey home to be with Jesus our Lord.  She was born July 25, 1940, to Bennie Ray and Juanita Griffe in Little Rock. 
Mrs. Simpson was preceded in death by her mother and her brother, Douglas Ray Griffe.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony "Tony" Simpson of Bryant; her father; two sons, Benjamin D. Montgomery of Little Rock and Wayne D. Montgomery and wife Shelly of Bryant; one grandson, Derrick W. Montgomery and wife Monique of Bauxite; three granddaughters, Amanda Peavey and husband Paul of Benton, Angela McAnally and husband Zach of Benton and Lexi Montgomery of Bryant; six great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Judy Griffe of Hensley; and two nephews, Todd Griffe and Bryan Griffe.
Funeral service is scheduled for 1p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, at Ashby Funeral Home. Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery. 
Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 3, at Ashby Funeral Home.
