Charlotte S. Freeze

Charlotte S. Freeze, 68, of Benton, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Feb. 3.  She was born Sept. 9, 1944. in Benton.
She was a homemaker and a member of Highland Heights Baptist Church in Benton.
Charlotte loved everything about nature, which included spending time outdoors camping, fishing, and gardening, both vegetables and flowers.  She was very artistic and enjoyed reading a variety of books. What Charlotte enjoyed most was spending time with her grandkids teaching them about nature and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carmon Hulsey.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Mike Freeze Sr.; her son, Mike Freeze Jr. and wife Liz of Benton; her daughter, Stacey Sample and husband Sam of Benton; four grandchildren, Jamie and Sarah Freeze and Caty and Josh Sample, all of Benton; her mother, Adele Hulsey of Benton; one brother, Jerry Ratliff of Benton; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton with Brother Carlton Cross officiating.  Burial will follow at New Rosemont Memorial Park in Benton.
Visitation is set from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the funeral home.
