Dick Calvert

Dick Calvert, 66, of Benton, passed away on Friday, June 1.  He was born August 21, 1945 in Pine Bluff.  Dick served as a State Farm agent in Saline County for 38 years.  He wanted to express his gratitude to all of his policy holders and customers for their loyalty and friendship over the years.  Dick was a member of the President’s Club, Chairman Circle and Bronze Tablet.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.  Dick was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bryant. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, H.K. Calvert Jr. and Mary Louise Calvert and a granddaughter, Sydni Rhea.
He is survived by his loving wife, Letitia Calvert; four children, Cami Koster, Cali Turner, Brian Tanner and Missy Tanner; brother, Ken Calvert; seven grandchildren, Bryce, Braylee, Alex, Sutton, Brayden, Sydney and Cole and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Knox Bradford, Joe Powers, Richard Day, Leonard Towell, Ed Hoyt and Billy Maynard.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 5 at New Rosemont Cemetery.  Pastor Don Egbert, Jr. will be officiating.
Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m. Monday, June 4 at Ashby Funeral Home.
