Edward E. Casteel Sr., 64, of Benton passed away Monday, Dec. 10.
Ed loved spending time with his family and also loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of Temple Missionary Baptist Church for five years and a lifelong member of S & J Hunting Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Bobbie Casteel; and his wife’s parents, Tommy and Lola Nelson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Barbara Jane Casteel; one sister, Barbara Jean Casteel; four brothers, Tommy, Donny, David and Charlie Casteel; his children, Kim Craig and husband Christopher, Eddie Casteel and wife Kathy, Christopher Casteel, Jeff York and wife Jennifer, Paul York and wife Heather, and Jessie York; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13 at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home, 4212 Arkansas 5 N. in Bryant.
Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12. at the funeral home.
