Freya: Home needed for pharaoh hound

Freya, a 1-year-old pharaoh hound-mix, is the pet of the week for Bryant Animal Control and Adoption Center.

The female dog is reported to be sweet, docile and submissive. An animal control spokesperson said the dog "smiles and closes her eyes as soon as you pet her."

Freya has been housed in a setting with other dogs her size and reportedly gets along well with them.

She may be seen at the animal control center Monday-Saturday, between the hours of noon and 4:30 p.m.
