Gladys Oleen Henry

Gladys Oleen Henry, 91, of Benton passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013.  She was born Oct. 11, 1921, in Hot Springs.  Mrs. Henry was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Effie Carpenter; her husband, Rome James Henry; a son, Rodney Doyle Henry; two brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Don Henry and wife Betty of Rover and James Henry and wife Deb of Bauxite; five daughters, Glenda Jenkins and husband, James of Benton, Pat Mason of Madisonville, Texas, Phyllis Henry and partner Judy of Little Rock, Beverly Maddox and husband Tommy of Bauxite, and Pam Ivy and husband Mike of Haskell; a special friend, Billie Mungle; 13 grandchildren, Christy Overton, Jamie Mathis, Justin Jenkins, Beth Gray, Mike Brumit, Kent Brumit, Donna Baskins, Gary Henry, Eugene Potter, Josh Henry, Tommy Maddox II, Lisa Maddox and Annette Maddox; 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at Ashby Funeral Home with Brother Curtis Kyle officiating.
Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 15, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saline Memorial Hospice House at 23157 I-30, Bryant, AR 72022.
