Gregory S. Farmer

Gregory S. Farmer, 62, of Wichita Falls, Texas, formerly of Benton, passed away April 3, 2014.
He was born Dec. 3, 1952, in Hamilton, Ohio. Greg grew up as a Southern Baptist.
He was a former circulation director for the Benton Courier (now Saline Courier), working at the newspaper from 2008 until 2011.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon "Ape" Farmer and Jean Doan; and a younger brother, Rick Farmer.
Greg is survived by his brothers, Michael Farmer and Terry Farmer; a sister, Sandy Farmer; a nephew, Leon Charles Farmer; and three nieces, Alicia Mistler, Michelle Myers and Chasity Myers.
A private family funeral service and spreading of the ashes will be held at a later date.
Cremation was under the direction of Wichita Falls Embalming Services in Wichita Falls.
