James 'Jim' Turner

James “Jim” Turner, 63, of Benton passed away on April 27, 2013, with his family by his side.
Jim was born Dec. 18, 1949, to Carroll Joe and Rachel Turner in Arkadelphia. He was employed with American Laboratories. He loved his family and was a wonderful, husband, son, father, brother and grandfather. Jim enjoyed going to auctions, woodworking and working on old cars.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Turner; a brother, Woodrow "Woody" Turner; and a sister, Cynthia Turner.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Glenna Faye Turner; his mother, Rachel Turner; two daughters, Christie Quinn and husband Brian and Cindy Apodaca and husband Chris; three stepsons, Tommy Lewis and wife Regina, Mike Lewis and wife Sherry and Kenny Lewis; five granddaughters, Kodie Lynn Lewis, Lauren Patterson and husband Casey, Jordan Ainsworth, Chelsy Lewis and Kyndal Apodaca; a grandson, Blane Lopez; a great-granddaughter, Addison Claire; two sisters, Melinda Buck and husband Ron and Melissa Sanders and husband Mike; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.
Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant.
