James Lee Deaton

James Lee Deaton, 52, of Benton passed away on Feb. 1. He was born in Baton Rouge, La., on March 11, 1960, to the late Ray and Ruby Mae Deaton. James was a plant manager for Hascall Steel for 28 years.  He loved hunting and fishing and working in his garden.
Mr. Deaton was preceded in death by both parents; one brother, Richard Deaton; one daughter, Tracy Walker Fullington; and one grandson, infant Josh Fullington.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Audra Johnson Deaton; one son, Josh Deaton; two daughters, Tammy Walker and Crystal Baldy; two sisters, Darlene Gunn and Carole Karrer and husband Ken; seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Bro. Bill Williams officiating.
Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Bauxite. 
Serving as pallbearers are Keith Combee, Jake Carper, Andrew Walker, Shawn Fullington, John Mansker and Ken Karrer.
Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Hill, Aaron VanCleave, Mason Fullington and Matt Carper.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at the funeral home.
