Jolly Darrell Robertson, 89, of Oppelo passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013.  He was born Nov., 17, 1923, in Oppelo, a son of Wesley Robertson and Bethel Hamilton Robertson. He was a commercial plasterer, and former bait store/gas station owner near Nimrod Lake.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Robertson, and four brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Flora McVay Robertson; two daughters,Beverly Meyer of Benton and Phyllis Prickett of Benton; a brother, James Robertson of Rockwall, Texas; three grandchildren, Teddy and Matt Battles of Chicago and Rusty Prickett of Benton. 
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 9, at Harris Chapel with Brother Gene Tanner officiating. Burial will follow at Casa Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
