Josephine 'Jo' Greer

Josephine “Jo” Greer, 85, of Benton passed away on Feb. 1, 2014.
She was born Sept. 8, 1928, in Flint, Mich., to Joe and Alee Farmer.
Jo was a homemaker and a member of Spring Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Ida Mae Lee; a brother, Joe C. Farmer; a son-in-law, Edward Rundel; and a great-grandson, Jackson Stapleton.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Kelly Greer; two daughters, Becky Rundel and Kellie Smith and husband David; her grandchildren, Michelle Stapleton and husband Dean, Alesha Cronk and husband Stephen, and Danielle Smith and Dereck Dinkins; a great-grandson, Ryan Edward Stapleton; three sisters, Ruby Grimes and husband Jack, Rosalee Seligman, and Millie Caldwell and husband Gene; and a sister-in-law, Wanda Farmer.
Funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Spring Creek Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Terry Parrish and Glen Tropp officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Spring Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 19200 Interstate 30, in Benton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Spring Creek Church Youth Group or Kentucky Missionary Baptist Church's Youth Building Fund.
