Karen Kay Yeager

Karen Kay Yeager Windsor, 40, of Fort Smith, went to heaven to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 4, 2011, at St. Edward Medical Center in Fort Smith.
She was born Dec. 27, 1970, in Harrison, the daughter of Ed and Shirley Brazzeal Yeager.  Karen graduated from Van Buren High School in 1989.  She went on to the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority.  She graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
Karen married Aaron Windsor of Benton on July 16, 1994.  They made their home in Fort Smith in 1996, where she was an owner/operator of Yeager Hardware Inc. with her father and her sister.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Van Buren.  She loved her family, her friends and coworkers, vacations and hope in the promise of heaven through Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Aaron, and her children, Gage and Lexi of the home; her father and mother, Ed and Shirley Yeager of Van Buren; her sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Scott Clark and her niece Ashton and nephew Braden of Fort Smith; her maternal grandmother, Louise Parker Brazzeal of Harrison; her father and mother-in-law, Dale and Donna Windsor of Benton; her sister and brother-in-law, Aamie and David Mason; and her nieces Ashlyn, Laura Kate and Kimee of Benton; and many friends and family members.
Karen was preceded in death by her grandfather, William Ernest Yeager; her grandmother, Francis Dombek Yeager; and her grandfather, Coy Brazzeal.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church santuary in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.  Private committal will be held immediately following the services.
Pallbearers are Chris Honaker, Ron Phelps, Trey Markham, Derek Barlow, Wes Kelley, and Oli Bacca.  Honorary pallbearers are the employees of Yeager Hardware on Rogers Avenue in Fort Smith.

The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church Santuary in Van Buren.
