Lanetta 'Netta' Johnson Whitaker

Lanetta "Netta" Johnson Whitaker, 50, of Fort Smith passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014. She was born Sept. 4, 1963, and was of the Baptist faith. She loved God, family get-togethers and the outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her father, Burks Johnson.
She is survived by her mother, Pat Drye Johnson; three sons, Jake Johnson, Monny Baber, and Trey Whitaker; one grandson, Darren Johnson; three granddaugh
ers, Lori, Abby and Gracie Baber, and their mother, Brandy; a sister, Robin Booker and husband Mike; and a brother, Joe Johnson. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Michael Jay, Mae, and Matt Booker, Jamie Burgess, Noah, Bryanna, and Izzy Johnson. Netta is also survived by a special caregiver, Raven Cannon, extended family and friends.
Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith.
