LaWanda M. Stuckey

LaWanda M. Stuckey, 83, of Benton, passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2014.  She was born Dec. 3, 1930 in Bauxite.  Mrs. Stuckey was a homemaker and a member of Highland Heights Baptist Church. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Ruby Mae English and two brothers, James and Charles English.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years whom she married on Sept. 15, 1950, Bro. Robert Stuckey of Benton; two sons, Michael Stuckey of Benton and Bruce Stuckey and wife Rachel of Erie, Colo.; daughter, Marcie L. Stuckey of Benton; three brothers, Lloyd English and wife Virginia of Sardis, Buddy Wayne English of Benton and Jackie English and wife Ginger of Sardis; three sisters, Kathie White and husband Stan of San Diego, Cal., Jo Doty and husband Irv of Rockwall, Texas and Linda Doggett of Benton; three grandchildren, Andy, Keylee and Robert Stuckey; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Pine Crest Memorial Park. 
Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9 at Ashby Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Highland Heights Baptist Church.
