Loeta Irene Terry, 91, of Conroe went to be with her Lord Friday, Feb. 1. She was born June 22, 1921 in Bonnerdale to Ellis and Ida Mae Norman.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Harvey Hawthorne, and Harold Terry.
Loeta is survived by her loving children, Hershel Hawthorne and Carolyn Robinson and husband Norris; a sister, Pauline Watson; grandchildren, Theresa Embry, Jack Robinson and wife Sheryl, Harper Nooner and husband Jerry, Hershel Hawthorne Jr., Mary Hawthorne, Jason Hawthorne; great-grandchildren, Sarah Embry, Keith Robinson, Aaron Embry, Dylan Embry, Brett Robinson, Hollie Robinson, Aaron Hawthorne, Bryson Willis, Jacob Nooner, Hannah Nooner, Jared Nooner, Jason Nooner; a great-great-grandchild, Elizabeth Embry; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton. Burial will follow at Fairplay Cemetery in Benton.
Visitation is set from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at Ashby Funeral Home. An early visitation was held Monday, Feb. 4, at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter.
