Mary Lois (Hollinger) Pearson

Mary Lois (Hollinger) Pearson, 89, of Bauxite died Oct. 14, 2013, at Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice House in Bryant.
She was born July 18, 1924, in Prattsville, to the late John Wesley and Nancy (Roberts) Hollinger.
She was a secretary for Kraft Foods of Little Rock and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of Sardis. She taught Sunday School at various churches for more than 60 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow W. "Woody" Pearson; a sister, Joann Walters; and four brothers, Dennis, Bernice, Charles and Ralph Hollinger.
Mrs. Pearson is survived by three sisters, Orene Caple (Everett) of Bauxite, Eunice Mooney of Prattsville, and Floy Sproul of Myrtle Creek, Ore.; one brother, Russell Hollinger (Lynda) of Prattsville; numerous nieces and nephews; and other friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of Sardis with Dr. Rick Grant and the Rev. Rick Porter officiating. Burial was in Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
Memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, 24310 North Sardis Road, Bauxite, AR 72011.
