Mattie “Ethel” Beck

Mattie “Ethel” Beck, 76, of Benton went to heaven on July 25. She was born on March 18, 1935, to the late, Clyde and Pauline Brown in Benton. Mrs. Beck was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She loved spending time with her family and being a homemaker. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Ethel is preceded in death by her husband, Dewell “Bob” Beck, her parents, and a great grandson, Joseph Perryman.
Mrs. Beck is survived by her two daughters, Connie Ann LeBlanc and husband, Ronnie and Carolyn Jean Hill and husband, Coy; two sons, Gary Don Beck and wife, Regina and Phillip Wayne Beck and wife, Teresa; two step daughters, Bobbie Dean Warner and Karen Joyce Kenzler and husband, David; one step-son, Jerry Beck; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and loved ones. A celebration of Mrs. Beck’s life will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant with burial to follow at McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
