Michael Anthony Mello Sr.

Michael Anthony Mello Sr., 60, of Benton passed away Sunday, Dec. 2.  He was born Oct. 31, 1952, in Whittier, Calif. 
Michael was a truck driver and enjoyed riding his Harley. 
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Joseph Mello Sr.; a on, Shane Mello; a brother, Anthony Mello; and a sister, Mary Fatima.
He is survived by two sons, Nicolaus Mello and Michael Mello Jr.; a daughter, Lindsay Kruizenga; his mother, Mabel Gonsalves; a brother, Alvin Mello Jr.; two sisters, Christina Cardenas and Brenda Mello; and four grandchildren.
He was the favorite uncle to his numerous nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
