Nancy Lou Hobbs

Nancy Lou Hobbs, age 92, of Benton, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011.  She was born May 6, 1919, in Tull. Mrs. Hobbs worked at Wal-Mart for 20 years and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pont and Mary Langley Monks; husband, Earl Hobbs and a brother, Jerome Burrow.
She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Holiman and Earlene Johnson both of Benton; sister, Anna Bell Tinsley of Smackover; sister-in-law, Eunice Burrow of Tull; four grandchildren, Dr. William A. Holiman (Vera) of Liberty, Missouri, Greg Johnson (Dawn), Jodie Johnson (Lisa) and Lou Ann Brady all of Benton and 11 great-grandchildren, Aleks Holiman of Birmingham, Alabama, Beth Johnson, Scott Johnson, Helen Johnson, Cody Johnson, Josh Johnson, Cassidy Brady, Quinton King, Carmen King, Cameron King and Katie King all of Benton.
Visitation will be at 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ashby Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Liberty Cemetery in Benton. Mike Titsworth and Kim Hammer will be officiating.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund or Saline Memorial Hospice House.
