NOTICE: Boil Order issued for Shannon Hills

July 29, 2013

A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for residents of the city of Shannon Hills living in the area located east of Vimy Ridge Road to Sardis Road affecting approximately 584 customers.
A water main break has occurred at Laddie Drive.
Therefore, as a precaution, all affected customers are advised that the water may be unsafe for human consumption and water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected, an adequate disinfectant level is established throughout the distribution system and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.
If you have questions, you may contact Lucky Turner or Mary Meyers, Shannon Hills Water Department at 501-455-3195, ext. 10.
