Paul Eugene Felty

Paul Eugene Felty, age 77, of Paron passed away Monday, April 1, 2013.  He was born July 23, 1935 in the Butterfield Community of Hot Springs County.  Mr. Felty graduated from Malvern High School in 1954, where he played football for the Leopards and was co-captain of the team his senior year.
He was a Mason and a retired school bus driver for Paron School District and North American Rockwell in Anaheim, Calif. 
Mr. Felty was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Colvia Bryant Felty; and a nephew, Lane Felty.
He is survived by his wife, Hester Bost Felty; a daughter, Ginger Doughty and husband Mark; a son, Paul Felty II and wife Beth; four grandchildren, Ben and Erica Craig and Hailey and Rodney Doughty; two brothers, Sherman C. Felty and wife Mary Anne of Redmond, Ore., and Virgle Felty and Betty Borch of Hot Springs; a sister, Mary Felty Thomason and husband Jeff of Malvern; a special family member, Jana Doughty; five nephews and five nieces.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 5 at Martindale Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 4 at Ashby Funeral Home.
