Pauline Harris Tittle

Pauline Harris Tittle, age 90, of Benton passed away Friday, Sept. 13, 2013. 
She was born Aug. 25, 1923, in Benton.  Mrs. Tittle retired as the assessor of Saline County in 1982. 
She was a member of Kentucky Missionary Baptist Church and a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star, of which she was a past Worthy Matron. 
Mrs. Tittle was preceded in death by her parents, Arlie W. and Eula C. Harris; her husband, J. B. Tittle; and three brothers, Horace Wilton Harris, Thurman O. Harris and Kenneth L. Harris.
She is survived by her son, Larry Tittle and wife Myra of Benton; a daughter, Linda Westbrook of Benton; four grandsons, Justin Tittle, Bryson Tittle and wife Trudy, Clint Tittle and wife Sarah and Major Jeffery Lance Westbrook and wife Tyler; and six great-grandchildren, Larken, Madison, Brett, Maddy, Carter and Ella; a sister, Melba June Vinyard; and three sisters-in-law, Melba Harris, Joyce Turner and Lavada Tittle.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, at Ashby Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, at Ashby Funeral Home with Brother Donny Haynes officiating. Burial will be at Gravel Hill Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kentucky Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund.
