Randall Jay Brown, 75, of Benton, passed away Saturday, January 12, at Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice House in Bryant.  He was born February 10, 1937 in Benton to the late John and Nina Brown.  He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Benton and a US Navy Veteran.  He was a retired pipe fitter and was a member of the Plumbers and Fitters Union #155.  He loved to hunt and fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jacob Miller Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Pauline “Polly” Ramsey Brown; one son, Randall J. Brown II of Benton; two daughters, Kay Stailey of Haskell and Pollyanna Wherry and husband Bill of Melissa, Texas; eight grandchildren, Emily Brown, Tiffany Roark, Cara Dawson, James Stailey Jr., Amber Wherry, Kevin Langley, Billy Wherry, and Nikki Wherry; a number of great-grandchildren; one brother, Ralph D. Brown and wife Donna of Benton; three brother-in-laws, Paul Ramsey Jr.,  CL Butler, James Warford and wife June, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 16, at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.  Serving as pallbearers will be Allen Fletcher, Jason Boyette, Ken Boyette, Bill Wherry, Kevin Langley, and Billy Wherry. 
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, January 15, at the funeral home.
