Randy Lee Dorsey, 54, of Little Rock died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013.
Randy was born Aug. 28, 1959, in Little Rock to the late Boyd and Norma (Riffle) Dorsey.
Randy was a deacon and the facilities director at Central Church of Christ. He was retired from AT&T and enjoyed woodworking in his spare time, but most of all he spent time serving others.
Randy is survived by his wife of 31 years, Robin (Welsh) Dorsey; his children, Andrew Dorsey and wife Julie of Little Rock, Courtney Burris and husband Brett of Alexander, and Amy Ballew and husband Robbie of Searcy; his granddaughters, Elliette and Carleigh Burris; his siblings, Mike Dorsey and wife Susan of Benton, Theresa Himes of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, and Danny Dorsey and wife Lisa of Marion; seven nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at Central Church of Christ with Leon Barnes and Wade Poe officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in the Ico community.
Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the church. Memorials may be made to the Randy Dorsey Camp Caudle Scholarship at Central Church of Christ.
