Rebecca Lynn "Becky" McAtee

Rebecca Lynn "Becky" McAtee, 63, of Benton passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock.  She was born Oct. 15, 1949, in Charleston, W. Va., to Peggy Frances Thompson and the late Gordon William Thompson.
Mrs. McAtee received a bachelor' degree in medical technology from West Virginia University and worked at St. Vincent Infirmary as a medical technologist. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, where she served as a eucharistic minister and sacristan and was a member of The Daughters of Charity.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, John W. McAtee of Benton; one daughter, Christina L. McAtee of Benton; her mother, Peggy Thompson of Charleston, W. Va.; one brother, John Thompson of Tallassee, Ala.; and many loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Benton with Father Joseph Egimofor and Father Bill Elser officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Little Rock.
A rosary service will be held at 6 p.m. today, Feb. 14, at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home. Visitation will follow.
