Robert Henry Bell

Robert Henry Bell, 82, of Benton died Monday, Feb. 25. He was born Aug. 6, 1930, in Warner, Okla., to the late Ross Henry and Vera Duvall Bell. 
Mr. Bell had retired from Alcoa after working 40 years and was in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church and a Mason with the Congo Lodge.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane (Scott) Bell, and one brother, Wayne Bell.
He is survived by two sons, Greg Bell and wife Kay of Rockwall, Texas, and Jeff Bell of Benton; one daughter, Robin Elliott and husband Jay of Benton; one brother, David Bell and wife Beth of Charleston, S.C.; six sisters, Sue Curtis, Lela Graddy and husband Ray, Ann Nix, Linda Hill and husband Len and Peggy Newsom and husband Bill, all of Benton. and Betty Lou Harrell and husband Dale of Malvern; six grandchildren, Tiffany Bell and husband Dennis Shaffer, Adam Bell and wife Taylor, Brittany Bell, Sara Elliott, Anna Elliott, and Hillary Bell; one great-grandson, Zachary Bell; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives.
Funeral service is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Sean Collins officiating. Burial will follow at New Rosemont Memorial Park in Benton. 
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047).
