Salvation Army begins taking applications for Christmas program

The Salvation Army Central Arkansas Area Command began taking applications for the Christmas Assistance Ministry Program.
Children up to age 12 are eligible to apply for the program.
Parents wishing to apply can turn in application from 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1 p.m.-4 p.m. at 129 North Main St.
Applications will be accepted Oct. 1-4.
Parents should bring the following documents:
•picture ID for head of household
•certified birth certificate for all children in the home up to age 12
•Social Security card, identification card or legal documents bearing Social Security or ID numbers for all household members
•income or no income verification
•verification of SSI/SSA/SSD, food stamps and child support
•proof of residency
•proof of expenses
