Santa to visit number of spots throughout the county

Santa Claus will be visiting the Saline County Courthouse gazebo Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 6 p.m., until Christmas.
Santa Claus can also be seen at the Shannon Hills Christmas parade Saturday.
In addition, Salem United Methodist Church will host Breakfast with Santa on Saturday.
Another Breakfast with Santa is scheduled at 9 a.m. Sunday at the Saline County Moose Lodge.
Photo sessions with Santa and the Chick-fil-A cows will be available Tuesday, Dec. 11 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Santa will visit Boswell Library in Bryant on Dec. 11 and Herzfeld Library in Benton on Dec. 13 from 2 to 7 p.m. Crafts, games and snacks will be included at the visits, according to the library website.
A Santa Claus team will be participating in Santa Claus Day at the Arkansas Health Center in Haskell at 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14. The Santa team will visit with the AHC residents and employees.
The Eyecare Center of Saline County will have cookies with Santa on Thursday, Dec. 18, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Several businesses already have had visits from Santa. Santa pictures were available at Walmart the last two weekends, but will not be available the rest of the year.
Ranch & Rider Western Store hosted the Cowboy Santa Claus, and Animal Family Practice offered pet photos with Santa Claus.
The Junior Auxiliary in Bryant hosted breakfast with Santa, as did Burger Shack in Benton. The latter event was sponsored by Abella Vista Studios, Advanced Alarm Technologies, Abella Salon and Boutique, Bank of Ozarks and Everett Buick GMC.
"There will be businesses all over town that will have Santa Claus for their customers," said Rae Ann Fields, executive director of the Bryant Area Chamber of Commerce. The chamber will inform the public as the appearances are announced throughout the month of December.
