Sharlotte Gjestvang Sawyer

Sharlotte Gjestvang Sawyer, 70, of Lono passed away Friday, Aug. 16, 2013.  She was born Nov. 10, 1942, in Little Rock, the daughter of George and Anna Lee Crowley Gjestvang.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing and embroidery. Sharlotte was a member of South Main Missionary Baptist Church.  Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Owen "O.J." James Sawyer Jr.; and a sister, Marie Heitman.
She is survived by her son, Mike Sawyer and wife Jennifer of Bryant; daughters, Denise Parks and husband John of Leola and Michelle Haislip and husband Russell of Benton; brothers, George Gjestvang and wife Pat of Little Rock and David Gjestvang of Mountain View; grandchildren, Jedidiah Sawyer, Josh Sawyer and wife Stephanie, John Daniel and wife Brooke, Ethan Parks, Bryar Haislip, Austin Hampton and Haleigh Redding and husband Ryan; great-grandchildren, Gavin Sawyer, Owen Sawyer and Eden Redding; special great-nephews, Trey Price and Dillen Haynes; and great-nieces, Anna Haynes and Jaclyn Price.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, at Regency Funeral Home with Brother Gene Fulcher and Will Wallace officiating.  Burial will be at Lono Cemetery.
Pallbearers are William White, Chris Hunt, Mark Haynes, Tad Price, B.J. Paul and George Martin Gjestvang III.
Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, at Regency Funeral Home in Malvern.
