Suit for mistreatment against Saline County Jail settled

A federal suit for alleged mistreatment at the Saline County jail was settle out of court as of Sept. 20, according to local attorney George D. Ellis, who represented the jail in this case. James Grundon filed a suit on Dec. 16, 2010, alleging that he was denied medical care after getting into a fist fight during his time at the jail. Grundon was awaiting transfer to the Arkansas Dept. of Corrections at the time. Details will be published in Wednesday's Saline Courier.
