Benton police are asking the public to help find two suspects who robbed the Taco Bueno on Interstate 30 at gunpoint.
Lt. Kevin Russell, public information officer for the Benton Police Department, said officers responded to the fast food restaurant at 9:30 p.m. Monday and were told by employees that two black men entered the front of the business and demanded money. One of the men was brandishing a pistol, Russell said.
The employees reportedly were ushered to the back of the business and the suspects grabbed an undisclosed amount of money. The suspects reportedly left the business in a small, dark-colored passenger car.
Employees said both of the robbers wore blue and white flannel shirts with hoods, jeans, tennis shoes, and bandanas over their faces.
"Detectives are diligently working on leads in the case and more information will be forthcoming as it becomes available," Russell said.
