Thomas W. Davies

Thomas W. Davies, 39 of Bauxite died Sunday, March 20, 2011, at Baptist Medical Center after suffering from a massive cranial hemorrhage, and he was surrounded by immediate family.
Tom was born April 21, 1971, in Little Rock to Pamela G. Garner Davies of Tull and the late Billy H. Davies.
Tom was well known for his great love for the game of baseball; he coached and umpired for most of his life. He was currently the Baseball Commissioner at the Sardis Ballpark.
He was preceded in death by his father; and an uncle, James David Garner.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl D. Redden Davies of Bauxite; two sons, Jay Daniel and Samuel; and two daughters, Katherine and Mary, all of the home; brother, Jeffrey D. Davies and wife April of Conway; and several very special nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Ashby Funeral Home.
Donations may be made to the Sardis Athletic Association, Bauxite High School Baseball Team or the Thunder Softball Family.
