Warren B. “Skeet” Johnson

Warren B. “Skeet” Johnson, age 72, of McRae, formerly of Benton, passed away June 4, 2011, at his home.  He was born Oct. 20, 1938, in El Dorado, Ark.
Skeet was the owner and operator of a heavy-duty equipment and welding shop for 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Ruby Johnson; a brother, W.B. Johnson; two sisters, Juanita Brotherton and Betty Burnett; his wife, Edith Johnson; and a son, Jerry Johnson.
He is survived by his special friend, Idell Addie of McRae; children, Danny Johnson and wife Linda, Mickey Johnson, Mary Davis and husband Ronnie and Danny Johnson Jr. and wife Crystal, all of Benton; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Elsie Lawrence of Benton, Lottie Stuart of Shreveport, La., Jane Higgins of Benton and Shirley Sanders of Little Rock; and a brother, Johnny Johnson of Benton.
Pallbearers are Danny Johnson, Rusty Davis, Jeremy Davis, Charles Rodriguez, James Higgins and Paul Higgins. Johnny Davis will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 9, at Social Hill Cemetery, with Brother Paul Williams officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, at Ashby Funeral Home.
