Willliam 'Bill' Earl Winder

William "Bill" Earl Winder of Bryant passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, as a result of complications from a recent illness. He was 54 years old.
Bill was born Oct. 11, 1959, in Fayetteville, N.C. to Robert W. and Norma J. Winder.  As a child, Bill took an early interest in all things mechanical.  He very much enjoyed working on anything with wheels.
Bill spent the vast majority of his life in the automotive industry, most recently employed by Steve Landers Dodge and Frank Fletcher Dodge. 
He spent a great deal of time at I-30 Speeedway in Little Rock spending time with friends and helping work on race cars. 
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Robert; his brother, Jeff; and his eldest son, Brian.
He is survived by his mother, Norma; his brother, Roben and wife Elva; his sister, Ellen Reese; his brother, Bob and wife Sheree; and two sons, Aaron and Matthew.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, at Ashby Funeral Home.
This will be followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m.
A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Camden. 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Bill’s memory.
