The man who last month allegedly shot himself on a stranger's front lawn on Millbrook Cove in Benton was arrested Friday, following his release from a local hospital.
Timothy Gauldin, 29, of Benton has been charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and filing a false police report.
A friend of Gauldin, 35-year-old Jason Gaunt of Benton, allegedly gave him the gun, according to police. He was arrested the day after the shooting and charged with furnishing a felon with a weapon.
