Lessie Enois Pendergrass Temple

Lessie Enois Pendergrass Temple, our precious mother, grandmother and sister, passed away into the loving arms of her Lord on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014. She will be reunited in Heaven with her husband, Burke Temple, her parents, Era Clenney Pendergrass and Fred Pendergrass, and sister, Mary Blackwood.

Jimmy (Kwock Chung) Ng

Jimmy (Kwock Chung) Ng, 85, of Alexander passed away Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014 at Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice House in Bryant.  He was born in China on July 14, 1929.  He was a retired chef a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Vimy Ridge.
He is survived by his wife, Frances (Welch) Ng of Alexander; one son, James Harris, one sister and one brother. 
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, at Ball Hill Cemetery in Morrilton with Bro. Tim Vanya and Bro. Doug Hethcox officiating.

William Robert Middleton

William Robert Middleton, 83, of Benton passed away Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014. He was born in Hot Springs on Dec. 11, 1931, to the late Francis Lorin Middleton and Clovis Tyo.  He was known as “Papa” to his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bob Middleton, and his wife, Marjorie Ann Middleton.

Thelma Mearie Martin

Thelma Mearie Martin, 63, of Benton passed away Dec. 8, 2014. She was born May 17, 1951, in Camden to the late Homer Jefferson Pierce Sr. and Venitta Pierce.
Thelma loved to go camping and fishing with her family. Vacations to Branson and other destinations were her favorite times of the year. She enjoyed collecting angels. She was a member of Benton Foursquare Church.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Homer Pierce Jr.; a sister, Lillian Burrow and her husband Buryman Burrow; a daughter, Iva Marie Barnett; and a grandson, Royce Southerland Jr.

David Aaron Eberle

December 11, 2014

David Aaron Eberle, 23, of North Little Rock, born Sept. 18, 1991, passed away Dec. 3, 2014.
He was employed by North Little Rock Parks & Recreation Department.
He loved to hunt, fish, and ride his bike on the river trails. He was a member of North Bryant Baptist Church.
David was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bernard “Skip” Eberle.

Dale H. Green

Dale H. Green, age 82, of Mena went to be with his Lord and Savior, on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014, in Mena. He was born Oct. 28, 1932, in Emmitt to the late Charles Douglas Green and Jennie Holloway Green.
He was married to Beatrice Weaver Green and was an Assemblies of God minister. He held his first pastorate in 1974 and pastored seven churches across Arkansas.
Dale served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a loving and kind husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and a friend to all who knew him.  He will be dearly missed by all.

Estelle E. Taliaferro White

Estelle E. Taliaferro White, 92, of Benton passed away Dec. 9, 2014. She was born Oct. 25, 1922  in Fenter, Arkansas, one of seven children born to Charles and Lucy Caroline Fenter Taliaferro. 
Mrs. White was a graduate of U of A at  Fayetteville, where she earned an education degree. During World War II, she and her sisters worked at the defense plant in Jacksonville. She began her teaching career in a one-room school in the Sweet Home Community in Grant County,

Donald Charles Goebel

Donald Charles Goebel, 79 of Benton, died Sunday Dec. 7 at his home.  He was born March16, 1935 in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Until his death, Donald was always surrounded by love from his family and community.  He was such a strong and brilliant man, always full of humor and such a hard worker.  Donald truly loved his family and the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marcile Goebel, sons, Bob and Rick Goebel.

Alonzo F. Mitchell

Alonzo F. Mitchell, 80, of Fort Smith, passed away Saturday Dec. 6, 2014 in his home. He was born March 20, 1934 in Waldron, to the late James W. and Sarah E. Mitchell. He was retired from the United States Air Force and the United State Postal Service. He was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church, VFW Post 8845, American Legion Post #31, DAV and Vietnam Veterans of America.

Odell Webb

Odell Webb, 75, of Benton, passed away Dec. 6, 2014. He was born on April 12, 1939 in Poyen, to the late Howell and Mamie Webb.
Odell was a jack of all trades. He was a lab worker at the Pine Bluff Arsenal, employed in banking and insurance, owned Odell Webb Construction Company, and Western Sizzlin Steak Houses. Odell was a member of Poyen Missionary Baptist Church and was a Mason.
Odell was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Vernard Webb, Orville Webb, Lindell Webb; and daughter, Sheree Webb.
