John Troy Pritchard, age 31, of Malvern, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014.  He was born February 6, 1983 in Duncan, Oklahoma.  John was a landscaper and of the Assembly of God faith. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Virginia Pritchard.

Addilynne Lauren Tarvin

Addilynne Lauren Tarvin, infant daughter of Alex Tarvin and Candace Stricklin of Benton, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014.  She was born September 8, 2014 in Benton. 
She was preceded in death by two great-grandfathers, Johnny O’Bar and James Cody and great-grandmother Charlene Burns.

Matilda A. Wright

Matilda A. Wright went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 12, 2014. She was born in Blevins, to Denzel and Odessa Stewart on February 28, 1931. All those who met Matilda knew she never met a stranger, she loved to talk and visit, tell you about her family and work with her plants and flowers. She will definitely be missed by many friends and family but never forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the love of her life for 63 years, Tom Wright and a brother Sammy Stewart.

Mary Frances Mullane

Mary Frances Mullane, 72, of Benton, passed away Sep. 14, 2014.
She was born Nov. 22, 1941, in East St. Louis, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Marie Couch Mullane; a brother, Paul Mullane; and sisters, Jeanne and Catherine Mullane.
Survivors include a sister, Patricia Swengross and husband George of Fairview Heights, Ill.
Cremation was through Ashby Funeral Home.
A memorial service may be held at a later date.

Lawrence Edward Mobley

Lawrence Edward Mobley (Larry) was born Feb. 22, 1926, and passed away at Parkway Village on Monday, Sept. 15, 2014.
Born in Traskwood, Lawrence was the son of the late Alma Elmore and William Lawrence Mobley.
A longtime resident of Little Rock, Lawrence graduated from Little Rock High School in 1944. After graduation, he entered the U.S. Air Corps and served for two years. He then enlisted in the Reserves until he was honorably discharged in 1952.

Patsy Ann Babbitt

Patsy Ann Babbitt, 73 of Benton passed away Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014.
Born Oct. 3, 1940 she was the daughter of the late William and Thelma Hester.
She attended Benton High School and was a longtime employee of Union Bank of Benton.
She loved to cook and garden but most of all she loved taking care of her family.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Paul Thomas Babbitt; a daughter, Paula Babbitt-Nagy (Keith); a son, Paul A. (Tony) Babbitt (Rasha); and grandchildren, Paul Thomas Babbitt, Tate Nagy, Ryan Nagy and Alexa Smith.

Denise Leann Rivera

Denise Leann Rivera, 47, of Alexander went to be with the Lord on Sept. 14, 2014, after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. She was born Jan. 12, 1967, to Diane and Furman Rivera in Los Angeles, Calif.
Denise was a very loving mother and was very loyal to her family and friends. She loved spending time with her family and friends especially her grandbabies, who were the apple of her eye.

Lora Mae Tarvin

Lora Mae Tarvin, age 103, of Benton passed away Monday, Sept. 15, 2014. 
She was born March 29, 1911, in Saline County. Mrs. Tarvin was a homemaker and the oldest member of Old Union Baptist Church. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lizzie Stigall; her husband, Willie F. Tarvin; two sons, Paul Miller and Billy F. Tarvin; three brothers, John Riley Stigall, Royce Stigall and Charles Stigall; and two sisters, Etta Stigall and Rhoda Stigall.

Edward Giles

Edward Giles, age 74, of Bryant passed away Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014.  He was born June 7, 1940. in Benton to the late Herbert and Dorothy Mae Giles.
Mr. Giles was a truck driver and a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Tina Gray.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Giles; two daughters, Natasha Giles and Lisa Mejia; a son, Keith Gray; six grandchildren, Deandre Toms, Joshua Wilder, Brandy Watson, Sommer Murphy, Brittney Todd and John Todd III; and four great-grandchildren.
