Harold G. Ferguson, 82, of Bismarck went to be with his heavenly father and family members all ready there on November 8, 2012.
He was born March 10, 1930 in Benton to the late George and Bealuh James Ferguson.
Harold was a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church in his younger years and then, Leonard Street Baptist Church for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Micheal Ferguson and Terry Ferguson; and wives, Dorothy Ferguson and Mildred Ferguson.
Survivors are daughters, Lisa Massey and husband Craig of Hot Springs, Deborah Ferguson of Bismarck; son Dennis Ferguson; wife Martha of Choctaw, Okla.; sisters Linda Barnes and Wanda Taylor; and brother, Curtis Ferguson all of Benton; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces, nephews and cousins.
His family was very important to him and had special relationships with each one. A very special relationship with the granddaughter he called, “Cinderella” Karis Hines, who brought a shining light to his life. He cherished his family and his Highway 7 home. The knowledge of 80 plus years of life and the many stories he shared will always be remembered by many.
Pallbearers will be Payton Brewer, Chantz Bellamy, Jason Klich, and Blake Trammell.
Graveside services by Ashby Funeral Home were at 1 p.m. Saturday at Gravel Hill Cemetery on Arkansas 9 in Saline County with his life long friend, Bro. Clarence Shell officiating.
